"How happy is the blameless Vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd."
-- Alexander Pope

Yesterday, I discovered what is to me, one of the best movies of all time.
A little tale woven by Charlie Kaufman, the same genius that brought us the likes of Being John Malkovich and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
A story that mimics the exact complexity and wonder of a thing we call love. It spins around an attempt to erase pain from one's system, only to realize that pain harbours such an unexpected necessity. It strings along desire, mismatch, the dullness of a love routine, perceived reality, human weakness, and the hidden nooks and crannies of memory itself.
And on its way, it picks up surprise, laughter, a quaint uncertainty, cinematic brilliance, and a familiarity that hits too close to home.

My words don't seem adequate to describe the vivdness and cleverness of this script.
So all i can say is, let it take you along for a ride.
See what you will, hear what you will, and take away only what you will.
