it would be an understatement to say that i am estatic about the things to come this summer.
but then, of course, i am always estatic about the things that come every summer.
i love how our minds work to make things seem so fantastically extraordinary, when they are, in plain and simple fact, just so damn ordinary.
What really is that little bit of extra? only but a little bit of our optimism combined with the grandeur of our imagination.
To borrow from the motto of the
Royal Society, "Nullius in verba".
To take no one's word. Or better yet, to see for yourself.
For the beauty of a word lies not only in it's ability to convey, but also in it's ability to deceive.
For words are but constituents of messages that our mouths are free to manipulate.
I would rather save myself the trouble of deciphering people's words.
Some say that talk is cheap, and perhaps that is so.
But talk is also rampant, and sometimes, there's simply no way around a mob of words.
