A reading week trip encapsulated in;

1 flat airplane tyre
1 missed bus ride to Bristol
1 man singing songs of heartache on the tube (i swear Johnny cash is better with accompanying British suburbia)
1 trip down to Bath (which I love more than anything)
1 rice cooker that is capable of anything
Several very entertaining and lovely people (some of which i've known since primary school, which was a very long time ago)
1 very uneventful law lecture
3 afternoon study sessions at starbucks
1 jacket that smells like fried rice
1 ballet class (which brought a whole new meaning to sheer mortification)
1 pub crawl (followed by the kebabs i'm still craving for)
1 bagful of more-than-satisfactory purchases
1 more completed song (for which i plaigerized a title without knowing)
1 corner of Oxford Street heaven
1 tub of very yummy oatmeal chocolate ice cream
1 very attractive customs officer
2 cancelled plane rides
1 very uncomfortable night spent in the Chicago airport (and only listening to the snow patrol and the garden state soundtrack could have made this possibly liveable)
1 missed midterm (and making it up is still bordering on doubtful)

But amongst everthing, although England was unquestionably beautiful, I missed the sight of a wintertime enveloped in snow. A trip to England brought me buckets full of foreign contentment, so much so that I had leftovers to take home.

I am good now :)
