This appears to be the current state of my very old-school to-do list for this week:

How delightful.
This time of year always proves to be chaotic to say the least. Midterms, work, readings, assignments; Oh, the joys of being in an academic institution. But yet, it's true that everything is better when it's relative. So I'm taking joy in the following:
1) Late night catfights on tv [or what could be known as a poor excuse for girls to be all over other girls whilst covered in various substances like spaghetti. Or more aptly, the average man's reason for watching television.]
2) Julia's bed [As some chocolate manufacturing people say, everybody needs a break. Mine just happens to take place for extended periods of time in Julia's bed, and includes singalongs to various curious tunes. In my defense, Julia's got this really comfy suede blanket - so wrong, but oh, so good.]
3) Lovely, friendly people [Miss Cousineau is returning from Montreal, and I've got a date with Aileen for friday. Seeing people you haven't seen for a while is awesome; you realize somehow all the things you miss about being with them.]
4) Paychecks! [I think this one explains itself eh, more money to fund both the necessary and the unnecessary.]
I'm turning into such an optimist it's alarming really. It's surprising though how easy it becomes to concentrate on the things you are blessed with. Everything is relative, it really is a choice; more people should try this.
