A recipe for a good day:

1) Sleeping in till the afternoon
2) Yummy chocolate cupcakes
3) Even yummier macaroni salad
4) A trip downtown with five fantabulous girlfriends (who, gasp!, all live in the same house)
5) A movie of choice (Ours being harry potter at the IMAX)
6) Lounging the time away at a bar (with tasty sweet potato fries, nachos and girltalk)
7) Playing ridiculous grassroots games on the subway (eg. speak only in song titles: "losing my religion...like a virgin?")
8) Continuing to play silly games while squashed into a back seat
9) And singing songs in game intermissions (Jeremiah was a bullfrog!)
10) A spontaneous snowball fight
11) Followed by spontaneous capture the flag in the h-wing
12) Ah, sweet sleep

All this together with the realization that ten days has flown by without me really knowing it, bringing along the bittersweet anticipation of his return, soon enough but not quite. The longer I'm up here, the more I find myself tied to the places and the people that allow for me. So somebody tell me, how does one leave it all behind?
