Don't they look pretty? :) Well, the strawberry ones were yummylicious to boot, but the blueberry ones were a little squishy (although the little cream cheese surprise in the center almost made up for it!). I think the best ones we've made so far are the lemon cranberry cupcakes and these strawberry ones, mmmmm :)
Also, Suz met me for some yumm-0 korean food at Togi on Mosque Street on Thursday. If you're a fan of Korean "comfort" food (tofu soup, kimchi, bi bim bab, mmmm), then this is the place to be! Suz ordered this yummylicious appetizer which I believe was oysters panfried in cute little pockets of pancake and egg (imagine a bite-size version of hawker centre 'or luat' aka oyster omelette) and not to mention the complimentary side-dishes were delicious too! This brought back all those memories of when we were in Korea and all I ate was kimchi because everything else was red meat!

Suz is evidently happy about the food!! :)/ Yummy tofu soup and pan-fried oysters!
Later that day, I visited Angie's office and we headed down to the Women's Secrets Sale. This might sound slightly weird, but underwear shopping is so much fun! Not to mention, women secrets basics generally have really good asian fits. We later went down to meet the brother and the mum at Plaza Market Cafe at Swissotel. The spread was pretty good (there was a little japanese, western, but mostly peranakan) and the mee siam was spectacular! :) Also, this place is famous for its durian cream (which is seriously just pure durian meat stripped off the seed), and having not eaten durian for years and years, my brother, Angie and I adventurously decided to try a bowl. And all in all, let's just say it was an experience, an all-consuming-oh-my-god-i-can-smell-it-in-my-brain experience :)
