more of the summery, please!
The days in Berkeley are getting warm, and it is evident as people begin breaking out their summer wear. And hell, I have to say that I love it (after all, I was raised in the tropics). But unlike the weather on the lil' island, the air here doesn't stick to your skin (yay to low humidity!) and the breeze is just cool enough to be crisp. Just the other day, I was thinking about the world (and life, and love, and all those grandiose things) while sitting upon Indian Rock (which, with every new visit, is becoming one my favourite places to be). And I think the more thought brings forth, the more I hope that someday, something will amount from all of this, that there will be more than this. There is so much more that I'd like (no, that I need) to do, there is so much more that I'd like to see, to smell, to feel, and to be, really.
Anyway, on a brighter less puzzling side, I've been feeling the buying itch and have been online window browsing through cute little (and mostly affordable) things. Loving American Apparel recently, having practically lived in one of their tanks and tees for weeks now. 1-5 are all aa basics, which I want in a variety of colours because they are so comfy and long and totally recreation-friendly. Favourites being 2.

AE flutter nightie (yes, a nightie, who the hell wears nighties anyway). But yes, thinking that that nightie would make a cute beach coverup. And warmer days are flipflop days, yay! 17, 18 (old navy) and 19 (charlotte russe - cheap patent flip flops!)
